As a first-time dog and Doberman owner, I did extensive research not just on the breed, but I also learned the importance of researching and learning about Doberman Breeders.
Here are some reasons as to why I chose Tackleberry (Amy Arthur) as the Breeder for the purchase of my Doberman and a few things you may want to consider during your search.
* I wanted to know the DNA and/or health screening test of the Dam and Sire: Amy provided me with the lineage of the Sire's bloodline and direct me to each one of the female's linked profile pages for their information.
* I was impressed with Tackleberry's straight forward health guarantee information per their contract.
* Although my initial preference was to get a pure breed American Doberman (extremely hard to fine), I agree that through Tackleberry, I received the best of both worlds as the mother is from an American line and the father is European.
* Tackleberry conducts a personality test on their litters.
* Tackleberry (Amy) offers an e-course for first time Doberman owners.
On a personal note, Amy always made time and addressed all my questions. She is a genuine and a very pleasant person I have had the pleasure of building a Doberman family relationship with. Additionally, when I request to visit the parent(s) of the future litters prior to choosing a Breeder, without hesitation, Amy welcomed me to her home.
I am certain I chose the right Breeder and I know I have an adorable black and rust very friendly, chilled, fur baby named YaYa, building confidence each day. She is such a joy to have in my life.
Most importantly, Amy genuinely cares about the breed and their well-being and is extremely knowledgeable about Dobermans.
